IPDPS 2013 Registration Details

15 Mar 2013 Notice: A 100% refund will apply to all USA attendees who register at Advance Fees but are subsequently prevented from attending 2013 IEEE IPDPS by travel policies of their institution due to current USA Federal Government directives.

Please note before you register:

  1. Click here for Online registration by credit card, Check or Wire Transfer. If you require a hard copy form for registration, email IPDPSreg@ieee.org to request form.
  2. Advance registration fees must be received before 11:59 PM, Eastern Standard Time (GMT -05:00), 26 March 2013. Onsite fees will apply after that time and date.
  3. Member number(s) for IEEE and ACM Life & Student members are required for the respective fees. A copy of a student photo ID for the current year and IEEE or ACM Student Membership Number must be presented when checking in at the symposium registration.
  4. Refund Policy: All refund/cancellation requests must be provided in writing and received by 12 May 2013. There will be an administrative fee of $50 deducted from each refund. All refund requests must be in writing to IEEE MCM, by emailing IPDPSreg@ieee.org

Additional Paper Fee:
Authors must register by 26 March 2013 for each paper to be presented. One registration is valid for one (1) paper. Authors presenting multiple papers may pay an "Additional Paper Fee" of US$200 for each extra paper.

Extra Page Fee:
The number of pages for IPDPS 2013 papers must meet the following limits:  main conference (12 pages, except Best Papers at 15 pages) , all workshops (10 pages, except HCW at 12 pages). Authors in these two categories may purchase two (2) additional pages in the proceedings. The RAW Workshop Poster papers (8 pages limit) and PhD Forum papers (4 pages limit) are not eligible for the purchase of extra pages.

Visa Letters:
Visa letters will only be issued to attendees who have paid their registration fees in full and are eligible to travel to the USA. Attendees will need to check locally (for their country of origin-citizenship) to determine the visa requirements for travel to the USA and whether they require an invitation letter from the conference. If you require a letter, when you have completed your registration and paid your fees complete the information requested in the Request for Visa Assistance form and it email to visa@ipdps.org.

Student Travel Assistance Grants:
A limited number of travel assistance grants will be available through the IPDPS sponsor, the IEEE Computer Society's Technical Committee on Parallel Processing. Application details will be posted by TCPP on the IPDPS Website in February. Note that all student authors must have registered to be eligible for support, and student travel grants are made in the form of reimbursement post-conference. Please see the IPDPS website for more details as they are posted.
