IPDPS 2018 Industry Participation:
Call for IPDPS 2018 Partner Support

If your organization builds parallel or distributed software or systems, please join us at the 32nd  IEEE International Parallel and Distributed Processing Symposium, which will be held at JW Marriott Parq Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada the week of May 21st. The IPDPS conference, in its 32nd year, attracts over 650+ attendees from all over the world. The five-day IPDPS program includes three days of contributed papers, renowned keynote speakers, industry (and research and business) participation, and student programs, framed by two days of workshops with papers and speakers that complement and broaden the main program.

Now, more than ever, we prize this annual meeting as a testament to the strength of international cooperation in seeking to apply computer science technology to the betterment of our global village. This prestigious event will bring together key researchers, practitioners and decision makers in Parallel and Distributed Computing from all over the globe to:

  • Promote technical interaction
  • Identify key open problems and challenges
  • Foster better research collaboration

We invite Industry-Research-Business participation from the leading players in Parallel and Distributing Computing. Various levels of support are possible, and we are prepared to design a program for your participation to include exhibiting on days 2, 3, and 4, a Web presence for your organization, publicity for your products and technology, and other opportunities during the conference to present your technology and to interact with attendees, including conducting tutorials and underwriting special events at the conference.

Based on the level of support provided, participating organizations will have access to opportunities prior to the conference for publicizing their technology and products, inviting attendees to special presentations, and including technical papers in the proceedings distributed at the conference. In addition, depending on the level of support, benefits will include complimentary registrations, specially located table space for materials and literature, and distribution of additional promotional materials at registration.

We can offer a number of support opportunities for your participation at IPDPS 2018, and we will be happy to work with you on what best suits your organization. Here are some examples using dollar figures for various levels of partner support:

Bronze: $2,000

This level of support would be recognized as “bronze support” on the conference website, during organizer presentations, and in printed material given to attendees.

Silver: $3,500

In addition to “silver support” recognition, silver supporters will be provided space to display promotional material and interact with attendees.

Gold: $5,000

In addition to “gold support” recognition, gold supporters will be provided space to display promotional material and interact with attendees and give a presentation on some of the new technologies developed by the company.

Diamond: $10,000+

In addition to the same recognition for other levels of support, diamond supporters will be provided space to display promotional material and interact with attendees, give a presentation on some of the new technologies developed by the company, and will be able to conduct a half-day tutorial. Other perks for a diamond supporter may include: logo displayed in the IPDPS 2018 Web framework; a special page on the Website; two pages in the on-site program; special signage at the conference; and other items to be determined.
